About these terms

These Terms of Service apply to the Solis marketing website and launch waitlist, operated by Synapsis Medical Technologies Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta (“Solis”, “we” or “us”). Please read them before using the website or joining the waitlist.

The website introduces Solis and displays selected previews. These terms do not govern use of the mobile app, an app-store purchase, a paid subscription or healthcare services. Any app terms, privacy notices and purchase conditions will be provided separately where they apply.

Joining the waitlist is subject to these terms. Your email consent is requested separately and can be withdrawn. Our Privacy Policy explains the website’s handling of personal information; these terms do not replace consent required by privacy or anti-spam law.

The launch waitlist

The waitlist is free. Use your own email address and give accurate information. The website waitlist is intended for adults aged 18 or older.

Signing up asks us to send Solis launch and availability updates under the consent shown on the form. It does not create a purchase, paid subscription, reservation, priority entitlement or guarantee of beta access. We do not collect payment through this website.

Launch timing, supported devices and the app’s final features may change. A preview is not a promise of a particular release date or feature. We will not charge you or enrol you in a paid service because you joined the waitlist.

You may leave at any time by emailing preetam@synapsismedical.com or using the unsubscribe method in a launch email. No account or explanation is required. We will honour withdrawals without delay and no later than 10 business days.

Health information & app previews

Content on this website is general product information. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, treatment, a laboratory result or a personalized recommendation about sun exposure, supplements, sleep or medication. Visiting the website or contacting us does not establish a clinician–patient relationship.

App screenshots and animations show illustrative conditions and example data. Vitamin D figures are not measurements of a person’s blood levels. Do not use a screenshot, estimate or displayed target to decide how long to stay in the sun or how much supplement to take.

Do not prolong UV exposure to meet a target. Follow appropriate sun-protection guidance and consult a qualified healthcare professional about your individual health needs. The website is not monitored for medical emergencies; contact local emergency services if urgent help is needed.

Using the website responsibly

You may browse the website and share links for lawful purposes. Please do not:

• submit someone else’s email address without authority, impersonate another person or make deceptive submissions;
• send spam, malicious code or material that infringes another person’s rights;
• attempt to access subscriber records, bypass access controls or interfere with the security or availability of the service; or
• use automated requests in a way that disrupts the website or abuses the waitlist.

We may restrict access or remove fraudulent or abusive submissions where reasonably necessary to protect the website and its visitors. This does not limit your statutory privacy or consumer rights.

Content & intellectual property

The Solis name, website design, text, app screenshots and other materials belong to us or their respective licensors, subject to applicable law. You may view the site, save a copy of these terms or the Privacy Policy, and share links. This does not transfer ownership or grant a licence to commercially reproduce our branding, distribute the app or imply our endorsement.

Nothing in these terms limits uses permitted by law, including applicable fair dealing and other statutory exceptions. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners.

Availability & third-party services

We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but it may contain errors, become unavailable or change as the app develops. Please contact us if you notice a material error. We may maintain, update or discontinue the website or waitlist, subject to applicable legal obligations.

External links and third-party services, including hosting and email delivery, have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control external websites. Our responsibility for personal information handled for us is described in our Privacy Policy and is not waived by this paragraph.

Your rights & our responsibility

The website is provided as an informational preview. To the extent the law permits, we do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content or that the website will meet a particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or waives a right, remedy, guarantee or responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited. This includes applicable rights under Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act, privacy law and other mandatory consumer laws. Nothing excuses fraud or wilful misconduct. Responsibility for a loss will be determined under applicable law; these terms do not impose a zero-dollar liability cap.

There is no mandatory arbitration clause or class-action waiver in these website terms.

Alberta law & resolving concerns

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Where the law permits, disputes may be brought before the courts of Alberta. This does not take away a right to use another court, regulator or dispute process available under mandatory law.

Please contact us if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. You are not required to do so before exercising a statutory right. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent the law permits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Updates apply prospectively; they do not remove accrued rights or expand existing email consent. We will provide additional notice or seek agreement where required by law.
